Last Friday at the Don Bosco 2000 Social Enterprise Association in Villarosa, in the province of Enna, the final event was held to present the results of the Infinity project, in the presence of about 40 participants, migrant children with their teachers, tutors and assistants.
The Don Bosco 2000 center has been dealing with the reception of migrants in Sicily since 2011 - men and women, adults and minors, families with children - using the integrated reception model in the SPRAR and CAS projects also in the centers of Aidone, Piazza Armerina, Catania and Pietraperzia.
As is known, the Infinity project, funded by the Erasmus+ program, sees the cooperation of seven entities from Cyprus, Belgium, Greece, Germany, Italy and Spain. The project aims to increase the basic training of migrants on economic and financial skills and on the ability to find job opportunities.
On this occasion, the results and main outputs of the project were presented, in particular the training course on basic finance and skills for job search, the Trivial Game for educational support and the e-learning platform. Both the tutors and the kids present greatly appreciated the contents and interactive methods of the initiative, which could be an excellent support for the integration processes of migrants that the Don Bosco 2000 Association has been meritoriously and effectively implementing for years.
